Brent is the Evangelist at the LOS OSOS CHURCH OF CHRIST. Both Brent and his wife Vicki were raised in San Luis Obispo County. Brent began serving as an evangelist for the congregation in Cayucos in February of 1991 and continues to do so with the new location in Los Osos. A 1977 graduate of Cal Poly (SLO), Brent earned his bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication. In 1979 he began an internship with the church of Christ preparing himself for the ministry, working with congregations in both Cayucos and Paso Robles, as well as teaching and preaching in the California Men’s Colony, San Luis Obispo. In 1980 he accepted the preaching position for the Susanville church of Christ and worked with that fellowship until 1985. In that same year, Brent moved his family to Bakersfield where he began working with the Rosedale church of Christ until his move back to the central coast in 1991. Brent has been preaching on Public Access TV in San Luis Obispo County since 2002. The TV program, “What Shall I Believe?” can be viewed on Sundays- 11:30am, Tuesdays- 7:00am, and Saturdays- 2:00pm. Brent and Vicki have been married since 1974 years and have three children: two daughters- Rachael and Quinn, and one son- Clint. Rachael has her Bachelor and Master’s degree in Nutritional Science and is currently enrolled in the Registered Dietician program at Cal Poly (SLO).  Quinn, a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Fine Art, lives in Seaside, CA with her husband Luke, who is a linguist and teacher at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey. Clint is a senior at Cal Poly and will graduate with a degree in Communication Studies in December, 2006. Brent and Vicki have lived in Morro Bay since their return in 1991.
