Two pics on left are early arriving members and visitors on the right side Brent Willey ready to teach and preach his first lesson on Romans and his first sermon in the new building. Members were thrilled to actually be in their new church home after about four years of waiting.

After the worship time happy people were greeting Brent as they leave the new building, his lessons were excellent as usual. BRL

Picture above to far left is an invitation into the auditorium, you have to see to appreciate. The center picture shows the excellent tile work in the Mens Room. The picture to the right shows the pretty floor tile and doors in the Hallway looking toward Brent's Study.

The picture on the left above was from the back of auditorium, it shows the color of the wood on the ends of the pews the best. The two pictures to the right above show the new pews which are a light green;put up July 1.

.

On the left is a side view and on the right is a view from the Site Managers trailor. They were painting the inside of the auditorium today; Monday May 14.

This was taken to show the nice earthtone color combination. This SE corner space will be the home away from home for Brent. On the right you can see an afternoon picture of the front; in the center picture you see what our back door neighbors see.

Early morning pictures to the right. The front gate and fence are gone.

April 29, 2007, a redletter date, Steeple is in place, it looks like a church building.

April 28, 07 The two pictures on the left are showing the building the day before steeple is installed atop the white box you can see on the roof, Sunday, April 29 we will have pictures of building with steeple attached! The windows have been placed on north side of auditorium, nice. See us Sunday.

A lot of work is being done by electric, heating and air conditioning workers, that I cannot show but it is happening. Work can now be done rain or shine, that is a good position to be in.

On April 7, you can see the wall board going up on sides and ends of the building, the metal to place the
ceiling material on is also in view. On the west side you see trenching to water the landscape plantings.
Guess where Brents office will be? The framing you see is the east side of the auditorium and hallway
between it and the east classrooms. They have installed a lot of the electric wiring and pews have been ordered. Boyd

March 23, 07 I walked onto the site and was disappointed at the lack of progress, then walking inside, saw all the sheet rock put up and lots of interior work done and said "Wow". They had done a lot! The first picture above showed an almost completed east exterior with siding. Elder Jack told me it would be painted a light tan with brown trim. Boyd

Your are seeing the same view, on the left you see a closeup of the church building partial wall and the concrete floor. In the picture on the right you can again see how far back it is from the Los Osos Valley Road. These pictures were taken on January 15, 2007 on a very cold day. If we have good working condition the building should go up pretty fast over the next six months

January 18, You can see they have started framing the Building  To the left you can see the area where three large water tanks
will store water for fire protection; to the right is the pulpit area.

This is a two views of the Three Water Tanks Room so the neighbors will see a solid wall on the back side of the building.
They expect the tanks to be set in place on Monday, January 22, 2007; then a wall will be build between the tanks and
the pulpit area you can see on the right hand picture above. Bowers Construction is anxious for the steel to get up so they
start using the framing wood you see in the pictures.

Finally, January 26, the the three water tanks are in place!!      Steel work started January 26.

Steel work continued on January 30; picture on left bolting steel to left wall; picture in the middle crane is transporting beam to the site, workers are now preparing to bolt beam to the top and wall to the rght side of building. Expect a lot of progress by Friday.

On the left is back side of the building, the second picture is a view fom the northwest corner; you can also see the holding pond for runoff from the Parking lot. On the third picture you can see the steeple lying by the east fence.

Brent was excited today, Wednesday, 2-21-07, as half of the roof was up on the Church Building. The first view is a of the east
east side roof covered with the insulation hanging down. the second view is toward the north east corner and third toward the southeast corner of the building. They expect to work tomorrow, but the forecast is for rain. Boyd

The 2-26-07 first picture above does not show its bronze color, but the second shows it is a dark color. In the third picture looking to the west and the far right corner you can see yellow rectangle, that is 12 inches of insulation to placed under all the roof.
