  1. Who can we trust? Man? Rarely! (Psa. 116.11; Jer. 17.5)
  2. Consider God faithfulness, He, “who cannot lie” (Titus 1.2; cf., 2 Cor. 1.18-20; Deut. 7.9; Lam. 3.23; 1 Cor. 1.9).
  3. And so, “the just shall live by faith” (Rom. 1.17).

IN YOUR DECISIONS – TRUST HIS WISDOM!

  2. “If any of you lack wisdom…” (James 1.5).

IN YOUR WEAKNESS – TRUST HIS POWER!

  1. Jesus encourages us to “ask…seek…knock” (Matt. 7.7).
  2. God can do more than we imagine! (Eph. 3.20)

IN YOUR FAILURES – TRUST HIS GRACE!

  1. He will forgive even when men won’t! (1 John 1.9)
  2. “By the grace of God I am what I am” (1 Cor. 15.10).

IN YOUR TRIALS – TRUST HIS JUSTICE!

  1. Persecution will befall the godly! (2 Tim. 3.12)
  2. God can deliver us from evil as no other can do! (Rom. 12.9)

IN YOUR ADVERSITY – TRUST HIS COMPASSION!

  1. He knows our struggle with temptation & sin! (1 Cor. 10.13)
  2. The Psalmist looked to God, so must we! (Psa. 121.1-2)

IN YOUR NEEDS – TRUST HIS PROVIDENCE!

  1. “Every perfect gift is from above…” (James 1.17).
  2. God is the Great Provider… (Cf., Matt. 5.45; Eph. 1.3)

Conclusion: In whom do you put your trust? We only have a few choices: self, others, things or God…
